Here at Apex, we understand that moving can be a highly stressful experience. We aim to take the difficult part off your hands so that you can relax. We adopt a can-do attitude and pride ourselves on providing a hassle-free service. Our experienced staff is here to make the job as easy, safe and efficient as possible.

Transit/panel vans

Our smaller vans are designed to carry lighter loads. If you’re a student moving to university or a small office wanting to shift a few computers and desks, a transit van is an ideal vehicle for the job. These vans are also good for transporting small loads of commercial stock.

Luton vans

Our large Luton vans are used for larger moves, such as house removals (2+ bedrooms), larger office relocations and high volumes of stock. Because of their size, they can hold bigger furniture items such as pianos and king-size beds. These vans feature an electrical tail lift to enable easy moving.

Fragile items

Apex is experienced in shifting breakable and valuable items such as computers, lamps, glass, crockery, and works of art. Our vans are equipped with the equipment needed to lift, stow and protect your possessions. For example, we have trolleys for wheeling items from location A to the van and from the van to location B, and blankets for protecting items during transit. Our vans are cleaned regularly to ensure your belongings are transported in the best possible conditions.

Packing up

To help us provide the best possible service, we ask you to do the following when preparing your belongings for transportation with us:

• Box everything up (no loose items)
• Delicate items should be stored in bubble wrap
• Label boxes “FRAGILE” and “THIS WAY UP” where necessary
• Inform removals service staff about fragile items
• Label boxes with where you would like them to be placed in their destination

For glasses and cups, place tissue paper within each glass and roll in the newspaper before placing in boxes. Place bubble wrap between each of your plates and fold it so that the entire plate is covered, then stack them.
With your electrical equipment, place items in the original polystyrene packaging where possible. Otherwise, use blankets or sheets to wrap items before boxing up.

If you have any questions about our man with a van service or how to pack a specific item, you can give us a call at any time or make an inquiry on our website. Just fill out the contact us form and we’ll get back to you.
